Message From The Editor

The editor of this site, James Martell, lives in White Rock, a quaint little seaside community about 45 minutes south of Vancouver, on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada. He barbecues from his newly landscaped backyard almost daily from April to October, grilling food to perfection for his friends and his cherished family, which consists of his wife, four children, Scamper the cat and a nameless fish (perhaps the only member of the Martell household that doesn’t appreciate a great steak).

Martell, who expertly combined his profession as an Internet Publisher with his passion for outdoor cooking to create this site unique barbecuing site, admits to savoring the occasional bottle of wine with his backyard meals, but derives even more pleasure using his grill to bring together family and friends for good times and great food, all shared together in the beautiful outdoors, creating memories that will last them all for a lifetime.

Martell is a real barbecue aficionado and has worked to bring the most important information on grilling to a single site. He hopes you enjoy it!
